Die Mauer arte contemporanea è una galleria che ha fra le sue mission valorizzare le nuove voci artistiche e le espressioni innovative del panorama contemporaneo nazionale.
Siamo entusiasti di partecipare a questa tredicesima edizione di The Others con l'idea di promuovere connessioni tra artisti emergenti e un pubblico diversificato e curioso.
Il progetto che abbiamo pensato quest’anno per The Others coinvolge due artisti con percorsi ed esperienze assai diversi con cui abbiamo recentemente iniziato una collaborazione.
Pur nelle differenze generazionali i due artisti evidenziano un percorso portato avanti con grande coerenza.
Come nello spirito della fiera, sempre aperta a proporre differenti linguaggi, con le opere di Monia Strada e Giacomo Bonciolini, abbiamo voluto mettere in dialogo queste due differenti voci della contemporaneità accomunate da una poetica che percorre il proprio tempo. Monia Strada ha saputo coniugare la pittura ad olio e la cianotipia in un linguaggio visivo unico e affascinante.
I suoi lavori si concentrano su soggetti anatomici e botanici, riflettendo una profonda connessione con la natura e il corpo umano.
Nel lavoro di Giacomo Bonciolini è la sua conoscenza tecnica nel campo dell’elettronica a fondersi con il suo amore per l’arte, dando vita a opere che raccontano storie che si snodano nel tempo.
Le sue sculture spesso sono oggetti trovati, reperti, ricombinati in assemblaggi inaspettati che stimolano l’immaginazione fra mondi passati e possibili mondi futuri.
Ogni scultura è un dialogo tra diverse epoche e culture, unendo il passato con il presente attraverso la tecnologia.
Sebbene i due artisti rappresentino approcci artistici diversi, ci invitano a riflettere sul mondo che ci circonda, fondendo arte, scienza e storia in creazioni che arricchiscono di possibili nuovi stimoli il panorama culturale contemporaneo.

We are thrilled to participate in this thirteenth edition of The Others with the idea of promoting connections between emerging or little-known artists and a diverse and curious audience.
The project we have conceived this year for The Others involves two artists with very different backgrounds and experiences with whom we have recently begun a collaboration.

As in the spirit of the fair, always open to proposing different languages, with the works of Monia Strada and Giacomo Bonciolini, we wanted to create a dialogue between these two different voices of contemporaneity united by a poetics that runs through their own time. Monia Strada has been able to combine oil painting and cyanotype in a unique and fascinating visual language.
Her works focus on anatomical and botanical subjects, reflecting a deep connection with nature and the human body.
Giacomo Bonciolini’s work, his technical knowledge in the field of electronics merges with his love for art, giving life to works that tell stories between the past and the future.
His sculptures are often found objects, relics, recombined in unexpected assemblages that stimulate the imagination between past worlds and possible future worlds.
Each sculpture is a dialogue between different eras and cultures, uniting the past with the present through technology.
Although the two artists represent different artistic approaches, they invite us to reflect on the world around us, fusing art, science and history in creations that enrich the contemporary cultural landscape with possible new stimuli.
